St. Francis Indian School is a chartered Tribal Contract School in which 25% of our tribal students attend K-12. Students residing inthe western area of the Reservation attend school at Crazy Horse School and the White River School District.
The remaining student population attends the Todd County School District and the area public school located within the original boundaries of the Reservation. Todd County School District is comprised of nine elementary schools located across the Reservation with a centralized middle and high School in Mission. The Sicangu Owayawa Oti is a charterd Dormitory Facility that serves students who reside in Todd, Cherry, Mellette and Shannon counties. The staff at SOO provide a positive learning environment for high risk students. For more information contact them directly at (605) 856-4486.
